Reported Crop Circles for the State of Illinois -

Two witnesses were repairing a roof on a building on their farm and stopped to watch as three metal orbs, following a distinct pattern created a crop circle. The farmer contacted the USAF and told them what he had seen from his roof with his son. Within an hour or so men arrived and the farmer was paid five times the value of his crop  to permit the USAF to burn his field of oats. The farmer relinquished the metal orb to the representatives on loan, telling them that when the orbs were done with the pattern in the crops, one hit the other mid-air and fell to the ground in the center of the crop circle.
